Q&A's
How do I book you for my Wedding Day?
To secure your wedding date for bridal makeup you must first check that your date is available. To do this you can fill out the application form in the contacts section or contact me on 07849141842. After this I will send a personalised quotation with a breakdown of costings. This will include how to pay your deposit. It is only once your deposit has been paid that your date will be secured in my diary.
Is there a minimum number of people?
Monday - Thursday weddings there is a minimum of 3 people.
Friday - Sunday weddings there is a minimum of 4 people. (this can include guests)
When & where do i have my trial?
Trials are held at LA6 1PF.
To avoid disappointment I recommend to book your trial as soon as you have a date for when you would like it to take place. This not only secures the date but also allows time to plan any looks that you would like to try in your trial.
Trials are recommended to be booked roughly 2 months before your big day. Long enough to make changes if needed, close enough to remember what you've had done!
As most of my weekend mornings are spent out at weddings, Friday and Saturday mornings are not available for trial bookings unless agreed at the time of paying your deposit. Most weekday and weekend afternoons will be available if booked in advance.
Sunday and Bank Holiday bookings may incur an extra charge.
Do I have to wear a lot of makeup?
Not at all! Many people come to me with question. If you don"t wear a lot of makeup I recommend to build your makeup in small stages. This way we can together make sure that it feels comfortable and light. Sometimes you may actually be wearing more makeup than you first thought you would but it should never feel heavy or "mask like" and at the end of the day, we want your guests and groom to recognise you!
This is also where your trial comes in. It will give you the time to perhaps try something a little out of your comfort zone, play with different colour pallets and to decide how much feels comfortable for you.
Can you recommend other wedding suppliers?
Yes! I am lucky enough to work alongside many wedding suppliers so if you are still looking for your wedding cake, photographer or hairdresser please do let me know. I'd love to help you tick things off your to do list!
Can I meet you in person?
I regularly attend local wedding fairs in Cumbria and The Lake District. It's a great opportunity to meet in person and really get a feel of what you would like from your wedding makeup. It's also a good time to bring your list of questions. We can go through any make up nerves you may have together and help you to feel comfortable in your choices.
